Description
We are seeking a Controller in the industry of Accounting Software Systems, located in Newark, California. This role centers around managing financial operations, utilizing various software systems, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all financial transactions within the company.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing all financial and accounting aspects
Developing and monitoring project budgets and financial plans.
Analyzing profitability and cost-effectiveness of projects.
Producing regular financial reports.
Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborating with project managers, finance personnel and other stakeholders.
Managing cash flow, conducting forecasts and financial analysis.
Implementing cost and inventory control measures.
Monitoring labor costs and adjusting projections as necessary.
Negotiating and reviewing contracts to ensure favorable financial terms.
Requires a background in finance or accounting and knowledge of the construction industry.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
5+ years in a full-time accounting position, ideally at a construction company.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong communication skills and go get it attitude.
Experience with Sage
Experience with ADP Total Source
