Description

We are in search of a Senior Controller to join our team. This role lies within the manufacturing industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The Senior Controller will be primarily engaged in bookkeeping and accounting tasks, aiming to resolve financial uncertainties and improve accuracy in our financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Exercise proficiency in various accounting software systems to manage financial data

• Conduct detailed forensic accounting to trace any financial discrepancies and identify their sources

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data

• Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas of financial risk

• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Regularly review customer accounts and take appropriate action based on financial status

• Work closely with the bookkeeping team to streamline processes and improve efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting

• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and financial optimization.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Demonstrated experience in Forensic Accounting is essential

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is mandatory

• CPA certification or equivalent is desirable

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

• Exceptional communication skills to report financial information to executives

• Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide the financial team

• Ability to participate in strategic data-driven and financial decisions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially high-level Excel skills

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
