Robert Half International Full Charge Bookkeeper in Newark, Delaware

Description Dynamic real estate development/general contracting firm has a position open for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/ Business administrator. A background in Financial statement creation, AIA Billing, Business and contract administration, and Bookkeeping required. This is a long-term contract to full-time role that is fully onsite. 2 -3 years of QuickBooks Desktop, Pro or Online required.

The applicant will be well versed in the general contracting and/or real estate industry. Primary Construction Contract Administration responsibilities include handling all aspects of contract administration for the general contracting portion of our business includes tracking bid documents, subcontractor contracts and insurance, vendor contracts, pay requests, lien releases, bank draw submittals and project close-out documentation and bookkeeping.

The applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills (especially writing), be a self-starter and have expertise in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with QuickBooks required and/or accounting software such as Yardi, Sage or Timberline and scheduling software such as MS Project, Planner or PrimaVera a plus. General understanding of office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers, phone systems, networks, etc.) is expected

2-3+ years bookkeeping/Office Management experience required

AIA billing experience required

Works with the Owner to make all payments to suppliers and subcontractors.

Create financial statements and related financial reports

Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and loan accounts

Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes

Complete payroll (bi-monthly schedule).

Proficiency in Excel required

QuickBooks experience required

HR/Payroll experience required
