Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Newark, DE. This role is within the telecom provider industry, with a hybrid schedule allowing for a blend of onsite and remote work. The primary function of this position is to create and execute project plans, assign responsibilities, and manage the daily operations of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute detailed project plans, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Identify necessary resources and assign responsibilities accordingly.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the project to ensure smooth execution.

• Leverage skills in operations and project planning to effectively lead the project team.

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

• Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and steer the project to successful completion.

• Conduct regular project reviews and report on project status.

• Ensure all project documentation is up to date and shared with relevant stakeholders.

• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

• Finalize all aspects of the project, including reviewing the completed project to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Project Manager or Senior Consultant role within a relevant industry

• Strong operations management skills, with demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects

• Ability to effectively execute project plans and meet deadlines consistently

• Experience in project planning, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team coordination and client relationship management

• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage teams

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset

• Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience

• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable

• Ability to adapt to changing project needs and flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
