Description We are offering an opportunity for an AP Specialist to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. The role involves handling full-cycle Accounts Payable in a well-established organization.
Responsibilities:
• Full-cycle Accounts Payable management
• Accurate matching, batching, and coding of invoices
• Regular processing of high volumes of invoices
• Reconciliation of invoices to ensure accuracy
• Resolving discrepancies in invoices
• Regular coordination with vendors for invoice processing
• Conducting weekly check runs
• Utilizing software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks
• Performing data entry tasks related to Accounts Payable
• Account reconciliation to maintain accurate records. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Account Reconciliation
• Familiarity with Check Runs
• Ability to perform Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Experience with Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Knowledge in SAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
