Robert Half Leasing Administrator in Newark, New Jersey
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Leasing Administrator in the non-profit industry, based in Newark, New Jersey. As a Leasing Administrator, you will take charge of managing customer applications, ensuring the accuracy of customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively contact and manage applicants on the housing waiting list
• Arrange and conduct interviews with management for prospective applicants
• Verify and secure required documentation from candidates during the application process
• Dispatch mail correspondences as needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication
• Accomplish administrative tasks and data entry duties
• Maintain proficiency in using Microsoft Suite applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Conduct data entry tasks primarily through Excel
• Utilize Yardi for various tasks and operations related to leasing. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Leasing Administrator, preferably within the Non-Profit sector.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is essential for managing leasing and property management tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate and interact with tenants and other stakeholders.
• Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant, demonstrating a solid understanding of leasing procedures and regulations.
• A proven track record in managing leasing documents including contracts, agreements, and lease renewals.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey information to various audiences.
• A high degree of professionalism, demonstrating respect and integrity in all interactions.
