Robert Half File Clerk in Newark, Ohio
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk located in Newark, Ohio. This role operates within the legal industry and will involve frequent visits to local courts. The workplace environment is dynamic and fast-paced where you will be performing tasks such as reviewing court filings, collecting legal documents, and interacting with court personnel.
Responsibilities:
• Regular visits to local courts for the review of court filings.
• Collection of legal documents based on established requirements.
• Scanning of collected legal documents into a database for client access.
• Regular interaction with key court personnel to ensure appropriate and timely access to relevant documents.
• Utilize skills such as Civil Litigation, Microsoft, Typing, Legal Research, and Computer Research for efficient task completion.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with various stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Utilize efficient time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Uphold the company's standards and reputation within the legal industry. Requirements • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
• Strong typing skills
• Knowledge in Civil Litigation is advantageous
• Experience in Legal Research is a plus
• Basic Computer Research skills
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
• No prior experience is required; training will be provided
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
