Boutique FS client looking for a new Sr Accountant up in the Newburgh, NY area. Great culture, great benefit, hybrid schedule.

Ideal candidate has FS experience and Call Reporting experience

• Oversee financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and preparation of financial statements.

• Utilize extensive experience in call report filing to ensure accurate and timely regulatory filing in accordance with federal and state laws.

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and deliver insightful reports and forecasts to facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls in line with company policies and best practices in financial management.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency and drive growth within the company.

Requirements

• The candidate should hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting is required, with a focus on financial reporting.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• High degree of detail orientation and integrity.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proactive and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
