Robert Half Desktop Support Technician in Newnan, Georgia
Description This role is for someone who excels at explaining intricate technical information to the non-technical user. A driven individual who is most productive in an active and positive environment is the ideal candidate for this position. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Newnan, Georgia, area.
What you get to do every single day
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures Requirements - PowerShell experience
Active Directory experience
Strong familiarity with Basic Troubleshooting
Microsoft Office 365 experience
Desktop Support experience preferred
Desktop support or related experience
Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
