Robert Half HR Generalist in Newport Beach, California

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Newport Beach, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, policy development, training, compliance, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in the recruitment and onboarding processes, including creating job postings, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire orientations.

• Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution to promote a positive work environment.

• Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate maintenance of HR records.

• Coordinate performance management processes and provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

• Conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics and compliance requirements.

• Support compliance with labor laws and regulations to ensure adherence to legal standards.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to stay ahead in the HR field.

• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the HR department. Requirements • Possess in-depth knowledge of Benefit Functions including health insurance, retirement plans, and worker's compensation

• Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management

• Familiarity with Compliance requirements in HR practices and procedures

• Experience in Employee Relations, managing and resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment

• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions and its application in the workplace

• Proficient in Human Resources (HR) Administration, including HR policies, procedures, and best practices

• Experience in Corporate Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding employees.
