Description

Growing plaintiff's firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their team! This 100% remote Litigation Attorney role involves a wide range of tasks including case management, legal research, and briefing. The successful candidate will work on a variety of cases, with a focus on consumer class action and privacy rights.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases efficiently, including tracking and documenting progress

• Use legal software and tools such as LexisNexis and Case Management Software to conduct research and manage cases

• Prepare and present briefings on case developments and legal issues

• Handle a high volume of work including simple briefing, discovery, and motions to compel

• Appear in person for case proceedings in LA and across California

• Work on some federal cases, providing an opportunity to argue motions

• Handle complaints and civil litigation cases effectively

• Handle class action litigation and ensure all documentation is in order

• Work under the guidance of senior team members on assigned tasks and cases.

Requirements

• Possess a valid license to practice law in California

• At least one year of experience as a litigation associate

• Proficiency in Case Management Software

• Experience with Legal software

• Familiarity with LexisNexis

• Experience in Briefing

• Knowledge of Civil Litigation

• Experience in Complaint Handling

• Proven ability in Documentation

• Experience as a Litigation Attorney

• Knowledge of Litigation - Class Action

• Experience in managing Class Action cases
