Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior in our CPA firm located in Newton, Massachusetts. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including preparing federal and state tax returns, conducting tax research, and handling client inquiries. You will also be tasked with maintaining books and records, preparing bank and credit card reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns

• Conduct tax research and analysis

• Respond to client inquiries and tax notices from the Internal Revenue Service, State, and Local tax authorities

• Assist in maintaining books and records and preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

• Correspond with clients to gather information, answer inquiries, and provide deliverables

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions for effective management of accounting functions

• Participate in auditing processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Contribute to budget processes and manage cash activity

• Use ADP for financial services and CapEx for managing company's capital expenditures. Requirements • Must possess expertise in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Knowledge of CapEx is necessary

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is desired

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is a plus

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently

• Experience in Auditing is required

• Must be able to handle Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Cash Activity is necessary

• Must ensure Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
