Description
Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing group seeks a Controller to join their team based in the Yardley, Pennsylvania area. As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the business, including managing accounting functions, leading financial planning and analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate finance and accounting activities, including consolidated reporting for subsidiaries, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Handle asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Prepare monthly internal financial statements and trial balances.
• Oversee and manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Cost Accounting functions.
• Implement financial policies and processes, controls, and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with both the internal and external audit processes.
• Perform corporate level operating and financial analysis.
• Lead budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate fiscal year-end audits for the company.
• Oversee the consolidation of subsidiary business units.
Requirements • Proven experience in Accounting Functions
• Strong knowledge of Auditing procedures
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation
• Strong understanding of Financial Reporting principles
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)
• Knowledge of Consolidations in financial context
