Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate, is an integral member of the Commercial Finance team, working to deliver great products and services to our internal customers.
This role is responsible for analyzing the financial performance of our Sales and Commercial departments, analyzing our Brand Partnerships, and completing additional analyses as needed. This position will provide leadership with in-depth insights into their department’s performance vs plan and provides recommendations for course correction or improvement.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Build successful partnerships with department leadership and business partners.
Proactively provide timely, insightful, actionable, and accurate financial reporting, analysis and recommendations related to Sales and Commercial departments as well as Brand Partnerships.
Establish key metrics and monthly review cadence with business partners, to monitor the health of our departments and partnerships.
Assist with forecasting and planning process, by providing leadership with financial insights into trends and expected changes.
Design, create, then automate new financial analysis.
Perform Month-End close activities.
Continually search for and implement process improvements with your business partners.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 4 plus years of Accounting / Finance experience. Or High School Diploma / GED with 7 plus years of Accounting / Finance experience.
Ability to develop and mentor team members into stewards for the business.
Extensive experience providing counsel to key stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of current and past finance and accounting practices.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze situations/data and make recommendations to senior leadership.
Ability to comprehend systems and their functionality including Business Intelligence tools.
