Description We are offering a contract for a contract to permanent position in the dynamic E-Business/Commerce industry in Niles, Illinois, for a Sr. Accounts Payable role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring efficient processing of account payables.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage accounting functions related to domestic vendors and some international vendors • Ensure accurate processing of payable invoices • Conduct weekly account payable check run • Allocate funds and review vendor debit balances • Maintain and update vendor records in our drop ship program, Vendornet • Utilize Microsoft D365 for various accounting functions • Ensure three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts • Monitor and resolve vendor inquiries to maintain good vendor relationships. Requirements • Proficient in various accounting functions, with a focus on managing accounts payable. • Extensive experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) operations in an e-business/commerce environment. • Ability to manage and process payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Demonstrated experience in conducting weekly account payable reviews and audits. • Strong understanding of e-commerce industry standards and financial regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently. • Strong focus on precision and efficiency in all accounting tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly. • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
