Robert Half International Payroll Clerk in Nixon, Nevada
An expanding company in the Non-Profit industry has partnered with Accountemps to find a Payroll Clerk to support the Payroll department in a number of duties. This role is based in the Nixon, Nevada area region. This challenging position calls for a candidate with a strong sense of initiative looking to advance their career path and work alongside an industry leader. The position's responsibilities include being able to effectively communicate with the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Clerk's duties will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. The Payroll Clerk position is looking to be filled on a short-term temporary-to-full-time employment contract.
Run and build custom reports
Be the main point of instruction/training contact to employees regarding payroll-related best practices
Compile a system of administering and distributing reports
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
Manage communications with employees on timesheet approvals
Collect and enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Knowledge of Computer Data Entry
General familiarity with benefits payroll
Wide ranging experience with Reconcile Payroll
Earlier work involving Process Payroll
Experience with Perform Data Entry
Well-founded grasp of payroll
Quality experience with bi-Monthly Payroll
Proven knowledge of Typing Data Entry
Deep understanding of data entry
Practical knowledge of Weekly Payroll
Numeric data entry experience preferred
Full Cycle Payroll experience
Previous payroll experience
Knowledgeable in Payroll software
Skillful in learning new processes and systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Excellent data entry skills
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
