Description
Robert Half is currently seeking a detailed and results-driven Billing Clerk to join our client's team. Your primary responsibility will be to issue invoices, calculate charges, and keep track of unpaid accounts.
Responsibilities:
Generate and send out invoices to customers
Track and monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
Resolve billing discrepancies
Prepare weekly billing and revenue reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Perform account reconciliations
Prepare and submit customer invoices, credit memos, and monthly billing statements
Perform revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a billing clerk
Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
Organization skills and ability to manage deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Data entry skills.
