Robert Half Sr. Accountant in NORCROSS, Georgia
The Senior Accountant should be a capable of taking a leadership role on special projects and possessing a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and high attention to detail. This role, which reports to the Corporate Controller, will have significant visibility to senior management and requires the ability to effectively collaborate both inside and outside the financial function in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day financial accounting, reporting and account analysis
Oversight and review of financial activities at foreign locations
Interaction with our tax advisors, bankers, insurers, and external auditors
Preparation of annual audited financial statements
ERP system implementation
Technical accounting support and implementation of new guidance
BS Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred but not required
4+ years’ experience, with at least 2 years in a Big Four or large regional public accounting firm, with the remainder in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Strong Technical Accounting background
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills
