Robert Half International Sr. Financial Analyst in Norcross, Georgia

Description

Our client, a distribution company is Gwinnett county, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing financial and pricing analysis, building dashboards, streamlining and automating processes, developing and presenting reports to leadership, and will report to the Manager of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

Provide financial, pricing, and other quantitative insight to leadership

Identify performance issues with locations in regards to financial, commercial, operational and/or pricing issues, and recommend improvements

Provide analysis and recommendations to profitability, cost to serve, investment, and pricing

Communicate effectively with staff and leadership of all levels of the organization

Prepare monthly/quarterly leadership presentation package

Ensure compliance with SOX requirements

Participate in projects designed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of reporting

Actively participate in the annual planning process for a multifaceted publicly traded organization

Utilize reporting tools to build dashboards and streamline reporting processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field

Minimum 5 years of progressive financial analysis experience

Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret large data sets and present findings to executive leadership

Comfortable working in a highly visible role and able to work with all levels of employees in the organization from C-Suite to entry level

Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel is required

PowerBI, Tableau, or other reporting tool experience is required

Understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and internal control processes
