Robert Half Accounts Receivable Manager in Norfolk, Virginia
Description You will provide direct management to staff accountable for high volume, multi-currency processing within various ERP systems to include but not limited to invoicing; proper recording and application of cash; daily cashier reports and reconciliations; researching and resolving unidentified payments; bad debt analysis and write-offs; intercompany transfers; credit card processing, chargebacks, and refunds; transaction adjustments and GL interface feeds.
You will effectively manage remote offshore team providing clear direction and feedback to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
You will develop and maintain an effective internal control environment over all areas of responsibility; ensure controls are being performed by staff.
You will provide guidance to staff on the resolution of complex problems and system issues.
You will recommend, develop, and implement new processes to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
You will monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback to staff, and coach and develop employees.
You will collaborate across departments, internal and external, to successfully meet set goals and objectives.
