Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Norfolk, Virginia

This Customer Service Representative job is short-term contract / temporary to full-time, and located in Norfolk, Virginia.

What you get to do every day

  • Provide accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • Follow up with customers with via Email and serve as a back up for the call center

  • Assist customers with inquires about their shipment status

    -Enter documentation into internal database and spreadsheet Requirements - Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

    • 1+ years of past relevant experience

    • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills required

    • General familiarity with data entry

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Email Correspondence

    • Customer Support experience preferred

    • Background working with Answering Inquiries

    • Assist Customers experience required

    • Experience with import customer service

    • Adeptness in Resolve Customer Complaints

    • Solid understanding of Assist Customers

    • Proficiency in Customer Shipments

    • Practical knowledge of Answering Inbound Calls

    • Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel

    • Answering Inbound Calls experience highly preferred

    • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach

    • Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

    • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

    • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

    • Strong problem-solving skills
