Description To ensure the accurate processing of financial transactions and the integrity of financial systems while in compliance with Federal and Commonwealth of Virginia regulations and providing excellent customer service to our many varied constituents.

To help maintain the operational integrity of the Banner Finance module by reviewing and analyzing financial transactions via Data Control entry processing, other module data or system upgrades/enhancements. Supervises the Data Control section of the Office of Finance.

Working knowledge of an automated financial system and ability to interpret data. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Excellent written and communication skills with a large constituency. Demonstrated ability to work with accounting entries and policies. Demonstrated ability to analyze fiscal transactions for conformity with procedures and regulations. Demonstrated ability to use Excel, Adobe, Word or similar software. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others.
