Robert Half HR Benefits Manager in Norfolk, Virginia

Description

We currently seeking an experienced HR Benefits Manager to join our dynamic human resources team. The primary role of the benefits manager is to effectively manage the company's employee benefits program.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs.

• Evaluate and negotiate with service providers to achieve optimal cost-effective benefits.

• Work closely with employees and supervisors, providing them with benefits explanations, discussing their benefit needs and options.

• Ensure that the company's benefits programs are compliant with federal and state laws.

• Analyze compensation policies, government regulations and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan. • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure that all benefits are properly administered.

• Prepare detailed budget reports and forecast trends.

• Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, changes, and other general enquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR benefits management

• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee benefits • Proficient with office applications including Microsoft Office suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strong attention to details is required.

  • Strong knowledge of FMLA & Deferred Compensation plans required
