Robert Half Expense Reimbursement Specialist in Normal, Alabama
Description
We are in search of an Expense Reimbursement Specialist to join our team located in Normal, Alabama. The individual in this role will play a key role in our finance department, focusing on the processing and management of expense reimbursements. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, allowing for growth and development within our organization.
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily processing of invoices in collaboration with various departments
• Engage in regular communication with faculty and other departments to ensure efficient reimbursement processing
• Utilize Concur Travel Expenses system to guide staff on expense reporting and payment
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Process between 200-400 invoices weekly, distributed among a team of three
• Provide exceptional customer service in responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook for data entry and communication purposes
• Work with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to manage and process expense reports
• Develop expertise in the use of Banner and Concur systems for efficient work processes
• Conduct check runs and coding of invoices as part of the job responsibilities.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Experience in Check Runs is necessary
• Knowledge of Coding Invoices is crucial
• Must be adept at Data Entry
• Invoice Processing skills are required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Experience in Expense Reimbursements is required
• Must be knowledgeable in handling Expense Reports
• Experience in Expense Reconciliation is necessary
• Ability to Process Expense Reports is a must
• Experience with Concur Expense, Concur Travel, and Concur platforms is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is necessary
