Robert Half Bookkeeper in North Canton, Ohio


Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a rewarding career opportunity in Canton, Ohio? We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers regular business hours and a wide range of responsibilities. If you have a background in payroll processing, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and possess excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you! This is a direct hire position.

Daily duties:

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

  • Assist in processing new hire paperwork and maintain employee records.

  • Organize and manage time cards for all employees.

  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.

  • Manage and execute check runs as necessary.

  • Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management.

  • Reconcile and balance monthly financial statements.

  • Perform various other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.


  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, AP, AR, and general accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
