Robert Half Customer Service Representative in North Canton, Ohio
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in North Canton, Ohio. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with answering inbound calls, troubleshooting customer inquiries, and maintaining strong business relationships with clients. This role will require you to work in multiple computer systems simultaneously, thus experience with SAP is necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Answer inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot customer inquiries and provide accurate information
• Enter relevant information into the computer system accurately
• Maintain strong business relationships with clients through superior customer service
• Comfortably navigate and operate multiple computer systems simultaneously
• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Utilize communication skills to enhance customer satisfaction
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively
• Ensure high-level data entry accuracy. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role within the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult customers and situations
• Proficiency in data entry and the ability to accurately input information into various systems
• Experience in providing superior customer service, including the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Knowledge of SAP or similar business management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications in relevant fields preferred.
