Description Our client, a highly successful IOWA agriculture operation is looking to add an investment analyst to its private equity investment platform, which invests in middle market companies and development projects throughout the agriculture industry. The individual will be part of a small team, who are dedicated and will be involved in all key areas of the investment cycle: origination, due diligence, execution, portfolio management and investment monetization. Create financial models to analyze historical and projected financial statements

• Conduct industry and market research and assist in business development efforts

• Participate in investment negotiations, monitoring of investments, and strategy implementation

• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and materials

• Involvement in the transaction process, working closely with other team members and outside service or capital providers such as independent counsel, lenders, co-investors, etc.

• Actively research assigned industry verticals for potential acquisitions

• Stay abreast of macro trends and valuations in order to identify opportunities

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and bring 1-3 years of experience in finance, investments, or related field. Experience and knowledge of agriculture would be a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; sound business judgment to identify issues and present creative and practical solutions. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines under pressure. Ambitious self-starter with a desire to contribute meaningfully to a growing platform. There is substantial upward mobility for a self starer, who is hungry and driven to succeed!! This is NOT a remote working opportunity; the expectation is to be in the office in Central Iowa daily!! Requirements
