Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in North Charleston, South Carolina
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in North Charleston, South Carolina. The primary function of this role will be to ensure the smooth running of accounts payable processes within the company. This role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and handling account reconciliation tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring all invoices are coded correctly and processed in a timely manner.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all customer credit applications.
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial data.
• Use software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing.
• Conduct check runs to ensure all payments are made to vendors on time.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable in a professional and timely manner.
• Continually review processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement within the accounts payable function.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall efficiency of the finance department.
• Conduct regular audits of financial procedures and customer accounts to ensure compliance with industry standards. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to conduct Check Runs
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Capable of processing Invoices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to Oracle
• Knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experience with SAP
