Robert Half Administrative Coordinator in North Charleston, South Carolina
Description We are on the search for an Administrative Coordinator to be a part of our team located in North Charleston, South Carolina. The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in managing student financial aid, maintaining accurate student records, and providing high-quality student services. This role is ideal for someone with an aptitude for detail-oriented tasks and a knack for effective communication.
Responsibilities:
• Proactively counsel students and parents about financial aid procedures, eligibility, and aid availability.
• Utilize an automated system to process financial aid awards and maintain accurate student records.
• Assist students and parents in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Initiate, monitor, and review financial aid funds and records to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a tracking system for student aid files, applications, and documentation.
• Certify student loan applications using state and federally mandated calculations and procedures.
• Assist students in applying for supplemental loans such as the PLUS Loan.
• Aid in the creation of payment plans for students and ensure timely payments.
• Participate in new student orientations and assist in the registration process for continuing students.
• Carry out student loan entrance counseling and process exit interviews for all students receiving financial aid upon graduation.
• Collaborate closely with main campus office and business office to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of budget processes, with ability to track expenses and manage resources effectively.
• Experience in calendar management, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with student financial aid processes, with a focus on assisting students in understanding their financial options.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. TalentMatch®
