We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Event Coordinator in the non-profit industry, located in North Charleston, South Carolina, United States. This role primarily involves assisting with the organization and scheduling of events, acting as liaison with coordinators at partnering businesses, and collaborating with the marketing team to design promotional materials. This position requires travel around the greater Charleston area and occasional weekend commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and organization of non-profit events

• Act as the main point of contact to businesses that partner with the non-profit

• Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials for events

• Help to maintain the current book of business while also bringing in new business

• Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate 1st/2nd shift work and occasional weekend duties

• Manage email marketing and direct marketing campaigns for the promotion of non-profit events

• Handle key account management and account maintenance tasks

• Coordinate events and handle event coordination tasks

• Follow up with partners and stakeholders through virtual interviews

• Use your skills in event handling to ensure smooth execution of non-profit events

• Carry out any other duties that may be required in line with the role of a Marketing Assistant

Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Email Marketing

• Proficiency in Direct Marketing Campaigns

• Prior experience in Account Management

• Capability to perform Account Maintenance tasks

• Knowledge of Key Account Management

• Skilled in Scheduling tasks and meetings

• Experience in Coordinating Events

• Demonstrable ability in Event Coordination

• Experience in handling diverse events in a non-profit environment
