Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in North Charleston, South Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the non-profit sector, based in North Charleston, South Carolina. The role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and billing functions. The role will also involve working with payroll and utilizing expense reporting software.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conducting bank reconciliations

• Handling billing functions

• Utilizing accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for daily tasks

• Working with payroll and tracking expense reporting

• Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports

• Utilizing software such as iSolved and Razors Edge for payroll and expense reporting

• Adhering to and enhancing the organization's financial policies and procedures

• Assisting with the implementation of new accounting software, such as Concur

• Providing support to other team members as needed in relation to accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in performing Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Experience in the non-profit industry

• Familiarity with Full Charge Bookkeeping responsibilities

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
