Robert Half is currently seeking an Enterprise Test Manager. The Enterprise Test Manager will be responsible for the following: plan, design and deploy effective test plans and test cases for user acceptance of vendor or in-house provided software, bank conversions, information system launches, releases, and systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help manage through resolution systems or software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives.

•This role will have primary test management responsibilities related to a bank conversion onto Fiserv’s core banking platform.

•Manage testing activities in a manner to ensure that the solution delivery meets business requirements and project goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve application issues applicable to deployed technology.

•Collaborate with project team members, outside consultants, analysts and application owners to develop test strategy and plans for the new initiatives.

•Ensure any new software integration meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

•Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.

•Provide testing leadership and guidance for cross-departmental projects when needed.

•Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy testing techniques for new initiatives as required.

•Manage the translation of business requirements and use cases into test conditions and ensure expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing are well defined.

•Develop and execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications and defined expected results.

•Determine and orchestrate all types of application testing such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.

•Manage delivery and collection of formal test findings/results from testing resources in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.

•Perform analysis on documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.

•Produce and present testing status reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, issue logging, and tracking.

•Provide proactive communication to project stakeholders related to project testing results/findings, their risks and the steps being taken to mitigate these risks.

•Partner with project manager and project team members to develop effective resolutions to testing issues and conflicts.


•Liaise with Application Services Analysts, Systems Engineers, Security Engineers, Architecture and outside consultants to identify, plan, and perform testing activities.

•Provide input into the Test Management Environment planning.

•Understand application development and deployment methodologies, as well as, application versioning and release processes.

•Understand technical components related to multi-party integrations and define appropriate test plans and cases.


•Education: Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ experience required

•Certifications: Preferred ITIL, PMP, CAP-M, but not required


•Five (5) years related experience in application management, test/quality assurance management, change management, or environment management.

•Three (3) years of hands-on test management or quality assurance experience with bank conversions

•Three (3) years of hands-on experience performing these duties for an organization utilizing Fiserv’s core banking platform.

•Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in testing management and relationship management.
