Description We are in the process of hiring a Customer Service Representative based in North Chesterfield, Virginia, United States. This role involves dealing with customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing customer applications in a dynamic and rapidly changing call center. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Receiving and making telephone calls to customers
• Providing accurate and friendly customer service in a timely manner
• Adhering to company policies while maintaining confidentiality of records and client information
• Processing complex transactions and performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
• Interacting effectively with both internal and external partners and clients
• Utilizing advanced Microsoft Office skills to maintain customer records and process applications
• Navigating multiple computer systems, applications, and utilizing search tools to find information
• Actively solving problems by listening for customer cues and resolving issues with grace and integrity
• Handling both inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Managing email correspondence and scheduling appointments using tools like Zendesk. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in a call center customer service environment
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Strong data entry skills
• Experience with order entry
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with email correspondence
• Familiarity with Zendesk or similar customer service software
• Previous experience answering inbound calls
