Robert Half Customer Service Representative in North Chesterfield, Virginia

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The chosen candidate will be performing a crucial role in our dynamic, rapidly changing call center. The main function of this job is to maintain strong customer relationships through efficient and accurate handling of customer inquiries and requests.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate customer service by receiving and placing telephone calls.

• Employ advanced Microsoft Office skills to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.

• Demonstrate exceptional verbal, written, and social communication skills during interactions with internal and external partners and clients/customers.

• Maintain confidentiality of records and client information in adherence to company policies.

• Proactively resolve customer issues with grace and integrity, showcasing strong problem-solving skills.

• Process complex transactions and perform extensive research to resolve customer inquiries.

• Utilize skills in customer service, data entry, and email correspondence to manage customer accounts and take appropriate actions.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, order entries, and appointment scheduling efficiently.

• Utilize Zendesk to enhance customer service delivery.

• Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word in the execution of job responsibilities. Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Demonstrated experience in a call center customer service role

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently

• Proven experience in data entry and order entry tasks

• Skill in managing email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Tech savvy and quick to learn new software and skills

• Familiarity with using Zendesk or similar customer service software

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on one's feet

• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service

• Ability to handle customer service inquiries and issues professionally

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
