We are seeking an Information Systems Security Officer. Your role will be pivotal in overseeing the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information in our financial services sector. You will work on a range of tasks, including risk level recommendations, system monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the application of cyber and information security policies in collaboration with leadership.
• Regularly updating and testing disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Conducting regular risk reviews in collaboration with IT to implement mitigation strategies.
• Enhancing security posture through the recommendation of appropriate tools and providing security training during onboarding.
• Regularly conducting vulnerability assessments and reviewing vendor security documentation.
• Monitoring data, access controls, user profiles, and generating reports to identify security issues or intrusions.
• Engaging actively in strategic corporate discussions and serving as the process owner for information assurance.
• Reporting to the Executive Team and Board of Directors on the Information Security Program and audits.
• Maintaining situational awareness of systems and vendor ecosystems and monitoring security devices and services to mitigate identified threats.
• Conducting IT risk assessments for key systems and processes and presenting findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of security management, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in access control and authentication systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies and Firewall Technologies.
• Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and its functionalities.
• Strong background in auditing for security purposes.
• Ability to manage computer hardware and its security aspects.
• Demonstrated experience in configuration management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry and its security requirements.
• Certified Information Systems Security Detail Oriented (CISSP) certification is essential.
