A company in North Hollywood needs a Credit Analyst. This role demands the delivery of top-notch credit services with few errors, a swift response to external and internal stakeholders with precision and efficiency, all while adhering to company and departmental standards and guidelines.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate in a team-oriented setting to meet department objectives for new client setup, accuracy measures, and productivity standards. Key tasks include conducting credit reviews of recent orders in sync with company procedures.

• Take charge of collections for assigned credit portfolio accounts while adhering to firm practices and demonstrating exceptional communication with problem-solving prowess.

• Speedily manage disputes and inconsistencies in customer accounts.

• Handle client concerns on incorrect invoices or refund requests.

• Participate in monthly reporting by supplying comprehensive commentary on ageing analysis.

• Document Credit Policies and Procedures, using your experience and credit expertise to aid in designing the top-class Credit process.

• Understand and manage credit policies/discounts, merchandise returns and resolution of debit memos.

• Perform credit risk assessments and provide security suggestions to the Credit Team Lead and Manager when higher risk is identified.

• Address client inquiries regarding debit/credit memos.

• Become familiar with A/R applications and adjustment procedures, ensuring clean client account statements.

• Endeavor to enhance department and system operations.

• Display superior written and verbal communication skills when dealing with coworkers, domestic and international clients to solve account issues effectively. • Exhibit excellent listening skills enabling effective customer needs assessment and concern resolution.

• Address inquiries promptly via phone, email or in person, in line with department standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years in credit-related fields AND a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance or accounting, or equivalent.

• Extensive understanding of Credit processes for construction.

• Proven experience working in team settings

• Ability to comprehend and implement basic accounting principles.

• Excellent communicative abilities both oral and written.

• Ability to handle customers tactfully.

• Knowledge of collection procedures, invoicing, and payment applications advantageous.

• Superior organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently with limited direction.

• Ability to make decisions and resolve customer concerns.

• Ability to consistently meet time-sensitive deadlines.

• Proficient use of MS Office: MS Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
