We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Transport industry, based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves Billing Analyst duties, where you will be responsible for managing and implementing automated tariffs, streamlining the billing process, and developing better reporting to the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage all automated primary and secondary tariffs for all customers

• Develop automated tariffs for all existing customer and all lanes

• Participate in the customer onboarding process

• Streamline current billing process, using the inherent system workflow

• Develop scanning/imaging and indexing process and implement an improvement plan across the company

• Manage, mentor and train Billing Clerk and Billing, Collection Specialist and Account Receivable

• Develop better reporting to the finance team and leadership

• Work with locations and other future acquisitions on streamlining processes and managing billing accuracy

• Use Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Collection Processes to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Analyst within the transport industry

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• In-depth understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing functions

• Experience in claim administration and collection processes

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot billing issues.
