Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in North Miami Beach, Florida
Description Our client is on a quest to find their new Full Charge Bookkeeper. Experience managing payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P, will be crucial to this Full Charge Bookkeeper role. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also supervise the clerical staff. Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the North Miami Beach, Florida area.
Your responsibilities
Mark budget transfers
Manage Accounts Payable
Business license and gross receipts coverage
Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Regulate Accounts Receivable
Draw up cash flow projections, as needed
Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Arrange sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Supplementary assignments when necessary
Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation
Oversee monthly accounting close Requirements - Prior experience with Approved Invoices
Good understanding of Post Journal Entries
Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Receivables
Practical knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Earlier work involving Ledger Journal Entries
Adeptness in Accounting Software Systems
Comprehension of cash flow management
Previous experience working with Prepare Journal Entries
Cash Flow Analysis experience highly valued
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Experience with Enter Invoices
Invoice Entry experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of full charge bookkeeping
Adeptness in Collecting Payments
Payable Invoices experience highly desired
Account reconciliation experience highly desired
General familiarity with Aging Reports
Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Invoice Processing experience required
Deep understanding of Invoice Payment
Background working with general ledger
Foundational knowledge in Outstanding Invoices
Hands-on experience with Invoice Coding
Invoice Discrepancies experience desired
Bank Account Reconciliation experience highly preferred
Foundational knowledge in bank reconciliations
- 1+ years of related experience- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
- Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Strong organization skills
