Robert Half Sales Assistant in North Miami Beach, Florida
Description We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Sales Assistant to join our team in North Miami Beach, Florida. This role involves supporting the sales team by providing accurate quotes, maintaining detailed sales trend records, and assisting with customer orders. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in providing precise and timely quotes, lead times, and product support to customers.
• Troubleshoot customer orders, account statuses, and other related issues.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups, to analyze and offer data insights to the sales team.
• Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
• Stay updated on new product launches to keep the sales team informed.
• Review pending orders and customer requests to ensure excellent service.
• Identify and suggest improvements in the sales process.
• Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with departmental policies.
• Collaborate with the credit department to resolve credit disputes.
• Provide constructive feedback to management on challenges or customer concerns.
• Build strong partnerships with the sales team to consistently exceed customer service expectations. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas is essential
• Must possess strong data entry skills
• Knowledge and experience in e-Filing will be advantageous
• Ability to prepare and provide quotes efficiently
• Experience in sales or customer service is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required
• Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
