Description

We are searching for a passionate Sales Assistant. Are you a motivated and driven hard worker? Then this role could be an excellent opportunity for you. A company located in the North Miami Beach, Florida area is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team. This position is a short-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity offered through Robert Half.

What you get to do every single day

• Provide quotes, lead times, and product support to customers with a keen focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Offer troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses, and any relevant issues that may arise.

• Utilize high-level Excel capabilities, including V-look ups, to analyze data and provide valuable insights and guides to support the sales team.

• Maintain meticulous records of sales trends to inform decision-making processes.

• Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

• Stay abreast of new product and feature launches, ensuring the sales team is well-informed and equipped.

• Review pending orders and specific customer requests to uphold excellent customer service standards and enhance overall customer experience.

• Proactively suggest sales process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

• Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.

• Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items swiftly and effectively.

• Provide timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or customer concerns, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

• Foster strong partnerships with the sales team to exceed customer service expectations consistently.

Requirements - Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Prepare Quotes experience highly desired

  • e-Filing experience preferred

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel

  • Solid understanding of Excel Formulas

  • Adeptness in Provide Quotes

  • Proficiency in data entry

  • Exceptional social skills, previous experience coordinating projects, and able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred

    • Good understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field suggested
