Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our team in North Miami Beach, Florida. The role involves providing essential support to our sales team, assisting with customer orders, and utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze data. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in providing accurate and efficient quotes, lead times, and product support to customers.
• Collaborate with account managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups, to analyze data and provide insights to the sales team.
• Maintain detailed sales trend records to support decision-making.
• Stay updated on new product launches to keep the sales team informed.
• Review pending orders and customer requests to ensure excellent service.
• Identify and suggest improvements to the sales process.
• Process customer orders, changes, and returns in accordance with departmental policies.
• Coordinate with the credit department to resolve credit disputes.
• Build strong partnerships with the sales team to consistently exceed customer service expectations. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas is required.
• Applicants must have experience in data entry.
• Knowledge of e-Filing systems is necessary.
• Ability to prepare and provide quotes to customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving skills and initiative to improve processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software and applications.
