Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in North Syracuse, New York
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in our Manufacturing industry located in NORTH SYRACUSE, New York. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your role will be pivotal in managing incoming payments and ensuring they are correctly logged into our systems. In addition, maintaining customer accounts and managing inquiries will be part of your daily tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately record customer payments in the system, ensuring the integrity of our bookkeeping records
• Manage customer inquiries effectively and professionally
• Regularly update customer accounts, reflecting recent payments or changes in contact information
• Liaise with customers to arrange payment plans and request overdue payments
• Handle cash activities carefully and accurately
• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets
• Generate comprehensive reports and balance sheets that reflect overall profits and losses
• Execute accounting and billing functions as per the industry standards
• Utilize CRM and Epic Software to update client accounts and track payments
• Ensure careful handling of cash activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is necessary
• Knowledge of Epic Software is a plus
• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is expected
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
• Experience in Billing Functions is required
• Capability to manage Cash Activity efficiently is necessary
• Experience with Cash Handling is highly desirable
