Robert Half Scheduling Coordinator in Northampton, Pennsylvania

Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Scheduling Coordinator for a growing healthcare organization located in Northampton County. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator with a knack for efficiently managing schedules and resources. The Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the facility operations smoothly by managing the staff schedule to meet the needs of residents.

Develop, coordinate, and manage staff schedules, including nurses, aides, and other support personnel to ensure optimum resource allocation and patient satisfaction Act as the principal point of contact for all scheduling-related inquiries and issues. Make real-time adjustments to the schedule due to call-offs, vacations, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Monitor staff attendance, track time-off requests, and ensure that all shifts are adequately covered. Collaborate closely with medical staff and departments to minimize scheduling conflicts and maximize efficiency. Coordinate with staffing agencies to fill gaps with temporary or per diem staff when necessary. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of scheduling records in compliance with organization and regulatory standards. Regularly review and update schedules to reflect changes, call-offs, or unexpected occurrences. Maintain accurate records of schedules, staffing levels, and changes for reporting purposes. Assist staff with scheduling concerns, conflicts, and requests, aiming to resolve issues promptly. Analyze staffing patterns and resident census to anticipate future staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly. Provide accurate timekeeping data to the payroll department to ensure correct compensation for staff. Assist in various administrative duties as necessary. The successful candidate will be resourceful, motivated, and demonstrate a sincere commitment to providing excellent service in the healthcare field. A background in non-profit healthcare or similar organizations is considered a plus. Requirements Previous detail oriented experience in a high-volume staff scheduling in a long-term care community, home care agency, or hospital setting Superb organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive manner. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with scheduling software a plus Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A resilient and adaptable nature comfortable with dynamic workplace scenarios.
