Robert Half HR Coordinator in Northborough, Massachusetts

Description

We are partnering with a well-respected client to find a talented Human Resource Generalist to come aboard. The HR Generalist is responsible for completing a wide variety of assignments to support critical operations of the HR department. The primary functions of this role will involve comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. Responsibilities

  • Write official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters

  • Work with outside vendors, upper management, and employees to maintain CSR standards conscripted by authorities

  • Preside over appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances

  • Design a system for storing physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records

  • Design employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities

  • Create employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience

  • Shape onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

  • Examine employee performance and appraises their pay scale accordingly

  • Wield HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration

  • Build a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projection

    Requirements

  • Comfortable developing and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • Able to manage time well

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • 2+ years of human resources experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required

  • Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
