Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Northbrook, Illinois

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a diligent Customer Service Representative in NORTHBROOK, Illinois, 60062-1903, United States. This position is within the service industry and will focus on a range of administrative, sales and financial tasks. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within our office, with a particular focus on customer service and financial operations.

Responsibilities: • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and website inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service at all times • Consult with customers to understand their needs and guide them towards suitable products • Process new orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Liaise with installation teams to coordinate and oversee business operations • Confirm the accuracy of shipments to the office by cross-referencing purchase orders with delivered items • Utilize various accounting software systems, including Quickbooks Online • Perform receptionist duties and manage equipment inventory as needed • Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, to organize and manage office tasks • Leverage Salesforce Platform and HubSpot to manage customer relationships and business sales • Handle accounting functions and billing functions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Skilled with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Competence in using Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented communication

• Understanding of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing Functions and Customer Service

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

• Business sales experience is a plus

• Familiarity with Salesforce Platform and HubSpot

• Experience in Receptionist Duties

• Knowledge in handling Purchase Orders and Equipment Inventory

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Excellent organizational and planning skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• High level of discretion and confidentiality

• Proven experience as an Office manager or Administrative assistant

• Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
