Description
Seeking a highly motivated and energetic EA/PA to work alongside a busy CEO in the farming industry. This position is full time and will work under a hybrid model and will be a combination of remote work, in person meetings in North Chicago area, and, on occasion day-trip to Iowa during farming season. In addition to EA/PA responsibilities the ideal candidate would also be able to work with the CEO and his various teams, marketing and HR.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a keen ability to anticipate needs and solve problems efficiently
Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive assistant and personal assistant
Four- year degree preferred
Provide tech support-updating apps and computer software
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software used by the operation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of discretion and integrity

Responsibilities
Seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive and Personal Assistant to serve as a partner to the CEO
Manage and prioritize the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings. Build agendas for weekly internal meetings with CFO, COO.
Create digital files of meeting notes and keep lists of outstanding items that need the CEO’s attention
Conduct research and compile information for decision-making processes
Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Assist with personal errands and making appointments as needed
Assist in planning and organizing annual employee events with other team members
Screen and respond to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
Track expenses and send receipts to accounting
Work with CEO on sorting resume and identifying talent; setting up interviews as needed.
Basic HR skills a plus: assisting new employees with paperwork remotely.
