Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Northbrook, Illinois. This role is pivotal in the financial industry, requiring the analysis and reporting of costs, overhead burden rates, and inflection points for both new and old clients, among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to determine customer acquisition costs and overhead burden rates.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
• Employ SQL and Power BI tools for enhanced data analysis and reporting.
• Analyze and identify cost structures for different business scenarios.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify patterns, predict trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment financial modeling techniques.
• Stay abreast of financial analytics trends and best practices. Requirements • Solid understanding and experience in budget processes
• Ability to develop and use complex financial models
• Proficiency in financial modeling and financial analysis
• Experience in investment financial modeling and financial analytics
• Knowledge of customer acquisition strategies and techniques
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and planning programming
• Proficiency in Excel formulas and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in using Power BI and Microsoft Power BI
• Familiarity with Power Business Intelligence tools
• Knowledge of SQL and Python programming languages
• Ability to effectively utilize the Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE)
