Design and Real Estate firm is seeking a hands on Human Resources Professional. As the Human Resources Manager, you will provide coordinated leadership, strategy, direction and guidance to ensure effective administration of all aspects of the human resources function, maintaining the authority and accountability for employment, compensation, benefits administration, wellness, team member engagement, and policy development and administration. In this position you will originate and lead practices that will provide a highly-engaged culture that emphasizes empowerment, appreciation, productivity, and ongoing development.

Responsibilities Review and makes recommendations for the improvement of policies, procedures and practices. Drive team member and leadership engagement and retention. Develop and lead programs to support high engagement and low turnover. Maintains knowledge of position and industry trends as well as federal, state and local legislation to ensure continued compliance. Demonstrates leadership ability in providing direction, supervision and support to management staff. Work with all levels on leadership and professional level development. Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the personnel budget ensuring the effective, efficient utilization of human and material resources. Works with leadership on the continual development of the engagement program to increase team member satisfaction, promoting appreciation and recognition program and practices. Spearhead the implementation of team and level-specific learning paths leveraging a blended learning approach. Work with team leaders to create learning paths for new hires, professionals, and Support performance development initiatives: talent reviews, onboarding performance fit evaluations and ongoing performance discussions. Directs the Health & Welfare programs including program administration, contract negotiation processes and vendor management. Develops and oversees administration of compensation programs for non-executive level staff including participation in annual review of salary ranges and annual merit increase process. Provides clear and concise direction and oversight of team member relations matters including investigative processes, team member complaints and resolution, corrective actions and training.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• • 10 + years of experience leading HR functions in a multi-site environment

• • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration or related field; Masters preferred; SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.

• • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, engagement, safety, and training and development.

• • Comprehensive knowledge in education and administration of FMLA, Workers Compensation, ADA, and other associated programs.

• • Comprehensive knowledge in policy development, implementation and administration.

• • Demonstrated leadership by managing others in a direct reporting relationship

• • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
