Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the automotive industry, located in NORTHVILLE, Michigan. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our internal systems, as well as offering support for various hardware and software applications.
Responsibilities:
• Independently navigate and operate within a matrix organization to ensure smooth system operations.
• Provide expert support for Apple products including MacBooks, Apple Business Manager (ABM), iPads, and iPhones.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of various Windows versions for PC’s, Microsoft Tools, and other client-side software installations.
• Optional handling of tasks around Active Directory administration, BitLocker encryption, Mobile devices support.
• Demonstrate conceptual thinking, goal orientation, and adherence to project deliverables and deadlines.
• Maintain excellent service desk process knowledge and understanding of service level objectives.
• Exhibit the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
• Provide customer-focused service, active listening, and empathy.
• Utilize MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for various tasks.
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, interface and influence at multiple organizational levels, and escalate appropriately.
• Display excellent technical, organizational, troubleshooting, problem-solving, budgeting, and time management skills.
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with peers at regular intervals on related topics.
Requirements • Proficiency in Dell Technologies is essential
• Demonstrable experience with Active Directory required
• Must possess strong knowledge of Computer Hardware
• Proficiency in Windows OS is necessary
• Knowledge and experience with Mac OS is an advantage
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Must be able to work in a team and independently as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in the field
• Proven experience in developing and implementing system security measures
• Previous experience in system backup and recovery procedures is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
