Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Norton, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the construction/contractor industry in Norton, Ohio. This role centers around customer service, specifically managing customer specific requests related to the inspection and service of fire protection systems. The goal is to continuously grow the revenues of the department while satisfying customers’ requirements and staying compliant with required guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer specific requests as it relates to inspection and service of fire protection systems.

• Schedule service and inspection of customer sites on demand.

• Perform necessary follow-up on outstanding work orders.

• Maintain subcontractor relations and negotiate rates as needed.

• Provide phone coverage for assigned account(s) as well as overflow.

• Maintain profitable margins on work orders.

• Be the primary customer service contact for assigned account(s).

• Cross-train to perform any job occupation as determined by the Company.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Account Management, and Customer Service skills to manage order entry and client relations.

• Maintain and document customer interactions and transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Experience in account management, with a focus on maintaining long-term client relationships

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently

• Familiarity with order entry systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders

• Excellent client relations skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Ability to manage and maintain proper documentation, ensuring all client data and interactions are recorded accurately

• Experience in the construction/contractor industry is preferable

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a team, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations promptly and effectively

• High level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time

• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
